Christmas Poem

I figured a short poem to express my wishes for this Christmas would be appropriate:

Merry Christmas to all...

Those without a home and those without a job
To the family of the crooks and the fortunes they rob
The student and the teacher both deserve a fine day
Along with the labor worker who's counting the hours away

Though Christmas is so often spent dividing and uniting
Between families, religions, and countries that are fighting
I wish each to look into their heart this year and help one another
Whether they might be a friend foe or brother

So Merry Christmas to all and to each their delight
Save the hatred for tomorrow, and sleep in peace this night
